The Regina real estate market continues to move quickly, and values in some neighbourhoods have shifted more than people expect. A lot of that comes down to local inventory levels, but there are broader economic pressures at play too, and together they're having a real effect on what homes are actually selling for.
Even if a move isn't on your radar, it's worth knowing where you stand in our local market. Staying informed puts you in a position of strength so you’re ready to act if your situation suddenly changes.
To ensure you’re always prepared, I provide my clients with an annual Neighbourhood Market Review. This customized update is delivered directly to your inbox once a year, giving you a clear, straightforward picture of how homes in your area are performing and what it means for your property's value.
If you're already on my list, your review is coming in the next few months. If you're not sure whether you're included, or you'd like to be added, just send me a message here and I'll get you set up.

How to create and maintain your Homeowner's Journal |
|
A homeowner's journal is a very simple concept. Your home is likely your most significant financial asset, and it only makes sense to manage it that way. People who keep one are always glad they did when it comes time to sell. The format of your homeowner journal doesn’t matter. It can be a binder, a folder in your filing cabinet, or a simple digital note on your phone. What matters is having a clear record of what has been done to your property, and when it happened. When it comes time to sell your home, buyers will ask about the age of the roof, the condition of the furnace, and the history of any past repairs. Sellers who can answer these questions with confidence and documentation tend to move through the negotiation process with fewer obstacles. Keep it simple and relevant: - Mortgage and purchase documents - Inspection and appraisal reports - Insurance records - Manuals and warranties - Renovations and repairs - Receipts, timelines, and service providers - Key contacts — your REALTOR®, lender, insurer, and contractors Maintaining your home protects its overall value. Keeping records helps prove that value to future buyers. You don’t need a perfect system, just find a place to start. |
