How to Make Your Listing Stand Out in Winter

Don't let the chill of winter delay your plans, real estate goals don't have to be put on hold. During the colder months, ensure that potential buyers will take notice of your home:

WARM THE INTERIOR: Keep the temperature a steady 20-21 degrees Celsius during showings.

TUNE-UP WINTER SYSTEMS: Consider hiring a professional to inspect (and repair if necessary) the furnace, fireplace, and any other seasonal systems.

SEASONAL PHOTOS: If possible, provide photos so potential buyers can see what your yard and landscaping look like during other seasons.

LIGHT THE WAY: Keep your home well lit, even when you're not home. Set lighting on a timer to create a cozy glow for anyone driving by.

KEEP THE SHOVEL HANDY: Keep sidewalks and pathways around your home shoveled, and clear patios and decks so potential buyers can envision using the space.
