March 2025 Newsletter

I hope this month’s newsletter finds you well - whether you’re busy working, traveling to a warm destination, or staying home and enjoying the winter.

I’d like to ask, how can I help you today? If you’re considering listing your home for sale this spring or summer, then we should be discussing it now.

Early preparation when selling your home is not just beneficial; it's foundational. From understanding our local real estate market here in Regina, setting a timeline to address repairs or renovations in your home, and staging a living space that will appeal to buyers, the advantages of early planning are clear for a successful home sale.

Ensure that your home not only enters the market, but does so with all the advantages that foresight and preparation can yield. By being among the early birds, you can capture the buyer - confident, prepared, and ready to move on to your next chapter.

5 Questions To Ask When Choosing Your REALTOR®

The following are some good questions as a starting point, let me know if you have any others.

1. Can you explain the timeline of a sale from start to finish? Topics like showings, offers, home inspections, and the closing process are a good place to start. An experienced REALTOR® will give you the knowledge you need to make informed decisions.

2. How will you determine a list price for my home? It's important to find a REALTOR® who has in-depth knowledge of current conditions in your local real estate market. A sound Comparative Market Analysis will determine a competitive list price for your home.

3. What marketing systems will you use to sell my home? A strategic approach that includes professional photos, video, a strong online presence and direct mail is vital in attracting the right buyers for your home.

4. Can I contact your 3 most recent clients? Yes, you can (and should) ask for references. Discover the right fit for your needs by reaching out to former clients who should be happy to vouch for a REALTOR®'s character, skills and performance.

5. What professional contacts do you have? A REALTOR®'s network is crucial. You'll require the services of lenders, lawyers, inspectors, contractors and service providers during the sale of your home, and beyond.
